At the July 2026 Board of Education meeting, the Whiteville City Schools Board of Education proudly recognized Serenity Harvey as a seven-time Women's Track & Field State Champion. We are incredibly proud of her exceptional accomplishments during her time as a student at Whiteville High School and wish her continued success as she begins her collegiate track and field career at USC.

To honor her extraordinary achievements and lasting legacy, Serenity's jersey has been officially retired and will be permanently displayed in the Whiteville High School gymnasium.
