Livingstone College visits North Whiteville Academy







Whiteville City Schools was honored to receive the Purple Star Designation for all five of our campuses: Whiteville Primary School, Edgewood Elementary School, Central Middle School, Whiteville High School, and North Whiteville Academy.
The Purple Star Designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate military-friendly practices and a strong commitment to supporting military students and their families.
Whiteville City Schools also received the Legacy Award.

Whiteville Primary School students Jack Sibbett, Madyx Wilkinson, Emily Wallace, Luke Kinlaw, and Ivy Delbasty were recognized as 2025–2026 Young Authors Writing Project State Winners.
Whiteville City Schools students Lyric Brown, Terri Ward, and Katelyn Tyree were also recognized as Scholastic Art & Writing Award recipients.
